STRUCTURE AND CONTENT

The CILT International Diploma is obtained when candidates would have studied and passed all the Six (6) units.

Note that in some countries, Government standards on the unit duration/contact time may require the local CILT Branch or Territorial Organisation to demonstrate the equity between the local Qualification Framework and the content of this course. It is possible for additional units to be studied in order to meet any further qualification framework requirements and/or specific units to be made compulsory to meet local ‘employability’ needs. This is usually done in consultation with the International Professional Development Coordinator (IPDC).

Standalone Unit

The modules offered as part of the Diploma qualification can also be offered as standalone units, giving both students and employers maximum flexibility to take a particular module for purposes of specialization. The Modular course gives Employers the choice of selecting a particular area of need which any of the modular courses have addressed. Any module (though a specialist course) taken and passed forms part of the subject of the Diploma programme. That is, if one is taken out of the Six (6) subjects, the one taken and passed will count, while the remaining will be taken to qualify for the Diploma certificate. Note that any certification awarded on a modular basis will clearly state that the award only relates to the specific module and not to the whole qualification.
